CALLED AND CONFIDENT LADIES NIGHT – OCTOBER 19

Women are busier than ever, and yet many feel that something is missing, that there is More out there for them.  Unfortunately time, money, responsibilities, and life in general keep them from pursuing it. And how do you find your calling, anyway, much less become confident in it? The Called and Confident women have also experienced this, and inspire and encourage you to pursue your own More with practicality, wisdom, humor, and confidence.   Come and enjoy an evening with Amy Kemp, Becky Payne, Debbie Legg, Niki Packer, and Clella Camp on October 19 at 6:00 pm at FCC. A light meal will be served.

BIRTHDAY PARTY INVITATION – OCTOBER 20
Grace Maxine Talbert will turn 100 years old next Saturday, October 20. Friends and family are hosting a come and go card shower on that date from 1:00 – 3:00 in the First Christian Church foyer. Everyone is invited, but please omit gifts (cards only).

BLOOD PRESSURE READINGS – NEXT SUNDAY
Blood pressure readings will be done next Sunday after the 8:00 am service and before and after the 10:15 am   worship services. They will be at the east end of the Welcome Center.

COMMUNITY IMPACT – FREE FAMILY FUN FEST (OCTOBER 27)
October 27 is the Community Impact Family Fun Fest at Leo French Park from (10 am – 2 pm). Please sign up at the Welcome Center or Sunday school class if you are interested in volunteering. THANK YOU
To my church family: words cannot express the thankfulness that Connie, I and the family have for the outpouring of love and kindness during my mother’s passing. We are so grateful to be a part of such a caring community of fellow Christians.
