"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
About Faith Promise
Back in 1963, the idea of spreading the Gospel far and wide was laid on one of our leaders’ hearts, through the words of the Great Commission. The first Faith Promise campaign was held here at FCC and the congregation trusted God to provide $7,000 (above $76,000 in today’s dollars) over and above the church's regular giving to be earmarked specifically for missions. After only 10 years (1973) the amount reached $50,000 ($377,000 in today’s dollars). What a testament to God’s provision and to the faith of those people!
The Missions program at FCC has continued to grow each year. Through this congregation's generosity, in the past 5 years alone, we have given close to 2 million dollars to missionaries and mission groups.
We currently support over 45 missions across 22+ countries. Our mission team touches base with each ministry regularly and receives updates on their incredible work of spreading the Gospel to all people. We are grateful to be a small part of God’s plan.
