Student Ministry

The Student Ministry exists to help your teenagers encounter Christ, emulate his way of life, and engage his teachings and kingdom mission. We want your kids to approach God with wonder and amazement and engage kingdom work with passion. Our goal is to prepare and challenge them to love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and to love their neighbor.

Sunday School

During Sunday School, we focus on helping students the overarching story of Scripture and how their story fits into God’s story. They get to investigate key characters and concepts and see what the gospel is and how it courses throughout all of Scripture. Our hope is for your teenager to become a life-long learner and to approach God’s word with awe and wonder every time. We have two classes, 6th-8th grade, and 9th-12th grade.

Our High School and Junior High youth group meets Sunday nights 6:00-7:00. We want your students to encounter Christ and learn to trust him and radically follow him. We want to expand your students’ view of God, challenge their assumptions and own their faith in Christ. Our teaching focuses on what students are experiencing to help them live in God’s kingdom right now. We focus on topics like relationships, identity, stress and spiritual habits that will help them engage Christ and his mission for the rest of their life.

Abide meets Wednesday nights 6:30-7:30 in the Spring and Fall. Abide is an interactive night of worship that emphasizes three key elements: Recognition of who God is, Recognition of who we are and Recognition of what Christ did for us. Our worship incorporates prayer, singing, scripture reading, and creative arts stations that combine several spiritual habits. Our teenagers get the chance on Wednesday nights to be still and abide in God through prayer, praise and creative arts.
